Meet the founder
Daniel Wilcox is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a former NFL tight end who played nine seasons in the National Football League with the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A defining moment in his career was competing in the Super Bowl and contributing to the Buccaneers’ first championship victory in franchise history. Daniel credits the league with instilling in him the values of discipline, resilience, teamwork, and unwavering dedication — principles that continue to guide his life and leadership.
Following his NFL career, Daniel returned to Appalachian State University to complete his Bachelor of Science degree. His commitment to excellence extended into entrepreneurship, where he became the Owner and CEO of Wilcox Custom Homes, LLC. Through his work, he applies creativity, strategic vision, and meticulous attention to detail to bring meaningful projects to life.
Today, Daniel’s greatest passion extends beyond business and athletics. As Founder of the I WILL Foundation, he is deeply committed to investing in youth development, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities that empower the next generation to move from “I can’t” to “I will.” He believes that success carries a responsibility to give back — to mentor, to uplift, and to open doors for others.
Daniel invites you to join him in this mission. Whether through partnership, sponsorship, or charitable giving, your support helps fuel programs that inspire confidence, leadership, and lasting impact in young people. Together, we can build stronger communities — one empowered voice at a time.
